Object diagrams are used to illustrate a static point in an application. An object diagram is high level abstraction and does not encompass all possible events of a program. The depth of abstraction is up to you.
Object diagrams:
- include two elements: objects and links.
- Add a meaningful name
- Show the most important elements
- Clarify all links with comments
- Annotate anything that's not obvious by diagram alone
